A week in thrifting: SPCA thrift

Thrifting has many benefits from cheap finds to one of a kinds that are unlike anything you’d find in a contemporary department store.

On top of all that, thrift stores are also positive for the philanthropic endeavors they support. There are countless stores that raise money to support people, places, and things that might otherwise go unnoticed.

This week in blogging I dedicate my posts to one of my favorite thrift stores, the SPCA. Who doesn’t love animals right? SPCA is such a wonderful organization that I rave about all the time. They support a great cause and have the most fabulous clothes, especially vintage! Image

I always find unique and special finds at my local SPCA thrift store in Sacramento, CA. The store always has sales; in particular two color tags that are ½ off each month. And quite frequently they will have big sales like the one I enjoyed this past weekend. Every piece of clothing in the store was $2! (I walked out with 3 dresses) That’s the best kind of bargain shopping there is. Two pieces are vintage and the other piece is a Mossimo dress from target.

If you live in Sacramento, please check SPCA out at: 1517 E St, Sacramento, CA 95814 (916) 442-8118

You can also follow them on FB where they post their upcoming sales: https://www.facebook.com/SSPCAThriftStore
